Comfortable rooms, a warm lobby, and an easy stop between Corpus Christi, San Antonio, Laredo, and the Valley.
Alice Western Inn sits right along the routes that connect Corpus Christi, Laredo, San Antonio, and McAllen — which is exactly why folks have called Alice the "Hub City" for over a century. Whether you're passing through on business, working the oil fields, or here for a Tejano ROOTS Hall of Fame weekend, we've got a clean, comfortable room and a friendly face at the front desk.
Every room is stocked with the basics done right: soft beds, a hot shower, and a quiet night's sleep. Start your morning with breakfast on us, cool off in the pool, or get some work done in our meeting space.
From a cozy queen to two queens for the family, plus a fully accessible room — every room is clean, air-conditioned, and ready for a good night's rest.

Plenty of room to spread out — a solid pick for families or friends traveling together.

In the 1940s, Ideal Records set up shop right here in Alice and began recording the artists who would define Tejano music — a legacy the Texas Legislature made official in 2001, and one the Tejano ROOTS Hall of Fame Museum keeps alive today. Alice is also proudly South Texas ranch country, in the same stretch of brush country as the famed King Ranch.
Easy on, easy off — right along the routes into Alice.
